Click the Edit option at the top of the timeline when the audio track is selected. Toggle on the Reduce Noise option, and it will automatically detect and remove the background noise from the clip.
To mute an entire audio track, click the three-dot button on the track and select “Mute track” from the pop-up. Alternatively, drag the volume slider for the track to 0%.
With your mouse, click and drag the second fade point, then Click and drag the fade point to adjust the volume.. Fade points can be added anywhere, especially if you need to fade a clip to hear sound from a different track or to crossfade between tracks.

Fading: check the “Fade” box to automatically generate a fade-in and fade-out with keyframes. Enter the number of seconds for each in the “In” and “Out” fields.
To fade any audio clip in and out, simply double-click on the clip from your Timeline to bring up the Clip editor’s Audio tab. Select your preferred number of seconds for fade in and fade out using the respective drop-down menus.
