"We paid $99 for Threshold delivery. A third-party deliverer brought the delivery, but initially refused threshold service, since their paperwork didn't show it. I called Home Depot in front of them, and they changed their tune fast. Not sure if Home Depot is at fault or the delivery service, but my wife and I came away frustrated with this process. Improvements must be made!"

"I was in the Gender Road Store and bought trim that I only needed 3 - 80" pieces but instead of making 2 cuts I made 1 in the middle getting 2 - 7 footers since they sell them by the foot. \n\nI grabbed another piece that someone had already cut 80" out of it and I've done it before and have always been charged for a 7 footer not 88"..... \n\nI let the long gray haired lady know and she said I'm always up here and that doesn't happen basically calling me a liar. \n\nI took the piece back to the saw and cut off the unnecessary 4". \n\nI brought it back up and was treated like I was trying to steel a 4" piece of wood. \n\nAs a contractor I've bought thousands of dollars of materials every month from Home Depot. \n\nI can't believe I was treated like a thief of a precut board that was already cut. \n\nI guess I wouldn't be as angry but in the past years I have literally watch people walk out with arms full of tools and they do nothing about it....\n\nTrust me if I had the time I would have taken all of them back and cut them to the 80" and only paid for 80" that I needed. \n\nWhen I came back up to the register I threw the 4" piece of wood in the trash and they literally got it out like they were going to sell it. \n\nI mainly shop at Grove city which in my opinion is a 5 star store. \n\nI have never been treated so poorly and especially treated like a thief over 4 inches of wood that was already cut to this size by another customer. I at least cut the 14' pieces in half to keep things simple. \n\nThis woman says she's been there for 20 years.... well I think it's time for her to go..."

"I purchased my GE top load washer & dryer online, through Home Depot, on August 25, 2020. I also went with their extended warranty through Asurion. \nDuring the first part of December 2024 the washing machine wasn't functioning\nproperly. I contacted Home Depot Protection Plan. About a week and a half later on December 16, 2024, a technician arrived and determined the unit needed a speed sensor, and ordered one. On January 2, 2025 the speed sensor was replaced. It didn't solve the issue. A motor & invertor board was ordered. On January 15, 2025 those parts were installed. Didn't help. The main board was installed. Still not working properly. A technician was due to come out on January 15, 2025, but received a call saying the wiring harness needed replaced. Again, on order. It is due to be installed February 6, 2025. It's going two months with no working machine. They won't replace the unit, even though a technician has been out here four times. I'm 76 years old and having to go to a laundromat. I can safely say this has been one of the worse experiences I've had to deal with."

The main source of natural light on Earth is the Sun. Historically, another important source of light for humans has been fire, from ancient campfires to modern kerosene lamps. With the development of electric lights and power systems, electric lighting has effectively replaced firelight.

Light - Learn Physics
Light is a type of energy that enables us to see with our eyes. Light travels from a source, like the sun or a light bulb, to our eyes, and to the surroundings. That is the reason we can see objects during daytime with the sunlight, or with a light bulb in the night.

The Basics of Light - Johns Hopkins University
Simply stated, light is nature's way of transferring energy through space. We can complicate it by talking about interacting electric and magnetic fields, quantum mechanics, and all of that, but just remember-- light is energy. Light travels very rapidly, but it does have a finite velocity.

In order to see, there must be light. Light shines on an object, then bounces off, or reflects, back to our eyes. Our eyes are sensitive to a certain kind of light called visible light. Visible light is all the colors (red, yellow, blue, etc.) that we can see. But there are many other kinds…
