Sim Update 4 Beta | MSFS 2024 Hardware This section is dedicated to regressions found in the Sim Beta related to hardware (Xbox, PC specs, peripherals, etc.). While we understand there may old bugs that still exist from previous versions, there is no need to re-report them as they are already logged internally.
Auto restoration of original settings changed by the utility. Important: This utility directly accesses active MSFS memory locations while MSFS is running to read and set TLOD and cloud quality settings on the fly at a maximum rate of one read and, if required, change per setting per second.

For instance, in MSFS 2020 I set FG to 3x through the Nvidia app, and then use RTSS to limit my FPS to 135. The result is an incredibly smooth sim pegged at 135fps (sim is rendering at 45fps and frame gen is bumping up to 135fps), and if it dips below this G-Sync kicks in and the image remains very smooth.
