Nightcore is the name of a musical group that used to make happy hardcore songs with pitched up voices. The point of nightcoring a song (and this is what people often miss) is that sometimes the actual song can sound better speeded up and with pitched voices, because it remembers Nightcore's melodies and atmospheres.
