The fire prompted evacuations Monday afternoon in the area of Highway 287 and Dillon Road, north of Broomfield.

A Boulder man was killed Sunday in a late-night fire at a senior living complex, fire officials said in a news release. Crews responded at 11:57 p.m. to the facility in the 4800 block of Baseline Road, according to Boulder Fire-Rescue.
