While the theory is unlikely to be true, more Stranger Things content is indeed coming. Netflix is releasing a documentary about the making of season 5 on January 12 2026, which is a far more realistic follow-up to the platform’s biggest series ever after its feature-length finale.

Stranger Things has finally ended, a decade on from its debut on Netflix and after five seasons, with a huge two-hour finale episode. But rather than neatly tying up all the threads from the last 10 years, fans of the show have been left with some very big questions, especially over the fate of Eleven.

Netflix revealed the release date and trailer for One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5, a behind-the-scenes documentary.
