ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WCMH) — The drought is over and Buckeye nation can breathe a sigh of relief. No. 1 Ohio State defeated No. 15 Michigan 27-9 to extend the nation’s longest active winning streak to 16 games and snap the Wolverines’ four-game win streak in the rivalry series.

For the first time since 2019, the Ohio State Buckeyes have knocked off the Michigan Wolverines, claiming a 27-9 win. Julian Sayin passed for 233 yards and threw touchdown passes to Jeremiah Smith, Brandon Inniss and Carnell Tate to lead the Buckeyes. Michigan managed only 163 total yards as Bryce Underwood only completed eight passes.
