Nepal’s Armed Police Force and India’s Sashastra Seema Bal concluded their 9th coordination meeting in New Delhi with a renewed commitment to strengthen border management. Both sides agreed on enhanced joint patrols, intelligence sharing, training exchange, and tighter control over smuggling, illegal movement, and drug trafficking. The Sashastra Seema Bal under the Ministry of Home Affairs, held a ceremony at the SSB Tezpur Debendranagar 68 No Battalion Headquarters where the third batch of Basic Recruit Training Course for 439 jawans of the SSB was successfully completed. The ceremony included the hoisting of the national flag and taking the oath of allegiance to uphold the sovereignty, integrity, and security of the country as witnessed by the Constitution.
